Huge thanks to my dad who made the mast step and partner with deck reinforcements in Finland while I was working in Estonia, and big thanks to Ben for shipping the mast (lighting pole) from USA. I’m still working on the sail and hoping to launch within the next week.

I’m currently converting a Galion 22 to JR, but I’m having severe difficulty in obtaining a proper tapered aluminium pole for the mast.
Where did you get yours?

I can understand your dilemma. It took me quite a while but I eventually found mine through an ad on the http://junkrigassociation.org/ forums. It’s a lighting pole and had it shipped from the US.
I’d recommend keeping an eye on the JRA forums.
